Angie SilverSpoon23 February 2015 at 19:01I'd love to be able compare blogging back then to now, but I've only been doing it for a year. There are so many of us but I really value the support from all the bloggers I've met!

Nimble23 February 2015 at 20:46This is a great post, I've only read blogs for about a year and only had mine for about 7/8 months so it's nice to hear from someone who has seen the change over time and their view. Also it's so lovely to hear you've got a nice group of friends from blogging, I'd love to have that in a few years.

Rachael Wilkinson24 February 2015 at 20:20Great post, I'm trying to blog more and definitely wonder whether if I'd started it years ago I'd find it easier now. Feel like you really have to have a plan to avoid just blending in with the rest of the blogs out there xxx

Winnie24 February 2015 at 21:28Blogging is weird. I used to blog so much during uni and can hardly believe I once attended a Burberry show (yeah - that'll never ever happen again) and my stats were pretty good and I met most of my blogging buddies around then. These days, with the full time job, I don't blog nearly but I'm actually pretty ok with that plus my photography has improved threefold! I've also successfully managed to blog 2x a week, just means i have to be more organised!

OneSliceOfLemon24 February 2015 at 22:06It certainly is werid at times! I use to go through phases of blogging lots and nothing for 2 weeks and eventually I stopped for a week, few weeks, few months then it was a year before I knew it! I think twice a week is manageable but I struggle with the lack of day light right now for photos!

I really enjoy reading these longer posts from you, more please!
The different types of social platforms are so mind boggling and time consuming.... guess it's the new generation.

This was a great post to read! I only discovered blogs a couple of years ago so I love reading about what the community was like before I found it.

Yeah in some ways I wished I actually carried on back then but no point in doing it if it's forced right! x
DeleteAh lovely post! I've definitely been on the slow go for the past few months on my blog. I just sort of burnt out! Blogging can be a lot at times!
ReplyDeleteAre you going to the Lush VIP eve?

Thanks Sarah. I think it's good to take a break but it can easily fall into months / years! Yes I will pop along Thur after work with the usual girls since most of us are local. Hope you can make it!
